This internship will give you the opportunity to work with the investigative team that exposed the sweetheart deal that enabled serial sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to escape serious punishment, and led to the resignation of a member of President Trump’s cabinet.The 10-week paid internship is funded by the Ida B. Wells Society, a news trade organization whose mission is to increase the representation and profile of reporters and editors of color in the field of investigative reporting. Beginning in early June, the program will provide the intern with the opportunity to work and train with some of the best in the business.

This internship is open to juniors, seniors and recent graduates with a passion for watchdog reporting. Special consideration will be given to students who come from underrepresented communities, HBCUs and other minority-serving institutions. To qualify, applicants must be registered members of the Ida B. Wells Society.
