Chris Vazquez

Chris Vazquez is a news content creator who’s collaborated with MediaWise, Mother Jones and Local News International. Previously, he’s worked for The Washington Post and The Marshall Project, a nonprofit newsroom covering U.S. criminal justice and immigration. He’s passionate about innovating new reporting formats for short-form video, using video platforms to directly respond to audience needs, and coverage of and for marginalized communities as a queer Latino journalist. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and he’s probably listening to a nine hour long X-Men podcast right now.
